Jacques Adnet, a midcentury French modernist hero, regarded himself as a "innovator and classicist, an advocate for the tradition that leads us into the future," as well as a "innovator and classicist."
The Adnet Round Mirror (1946) is made of mirrored glass wrapped in a luxury hand-stitched full-grain aniline leather strap with brass fittings, and was inspired by work he was doing at the time for Hermés.
Its construction is simple but warm and inviting, and it works well in a variety of settings.
